Online Exclusives Blog Hop

Happy to be here with many talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

You may not know, there are many offerings that are not in the main Annual Catalog. They offered online only and the are called Online exclusives.

So many choices.  I picked the Falling Leaves Embossing folder, actually Leaf Fall. Wonderful to have ready to later add greeting like Happy Birthday or Thinking of you.

159847 is the item number for 3D Emboss folder called Leaf Fall.  I have used it many times, not just for cards.  I love it for book marks.  I give them to friends and they appreciate them.  Yes, paper books are still in our home and I know many people love them.  I Love them for marking my place in the Bible.  Yes, many like digital reading but I am old school, love paper books.

If you, you need a special card,  sponge daubers make a embossing folder look better.

The sheet of designer paper for mat is Inked Botanicals, cut to 4" x 5-1/4".

I embossed a basic white, cut to 3-3/4" by 5".  Embossed by running through Emboss and cut machine.

I used various colors to sponge dauber the leaves.

Rain! I Love Rain

Ok, first, I know the flooding in Vermont and Northeast.  Here in Michigan we are dry, so rain is welcomed.  It is raining as I write this....

Rain makes things grow and flowers happy.  Now that crops are in the heart of growing season, Farmers are thankful.

Yes, I make lots of cards with flowers and never get tired of them.  I was busy all day doing paperwork and washing clothes.  I wanted to stamp but first things first.

Made more of the above card.  The Thinkinof you is from a retired stamp set...use often.

The embossing folder is the Countryside Embossing folder.

The Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder is the perfect way to add floral textures to all of your projects! You can use it on the base of your card or on other elements to add layers and texture. No matter what direction you face the embossing folder, you are going to get a beautiful design that is sure to wow!

Simple base with emboss layer of 4" x 5-1/4".

Making and sending cards everyday......are you spreading joy!

We recycle the paper...things have changed.

Life Changes Quickly, Faster as we Grow Older. Cards bring joy!

Life stops for no one.  I have had so many changes in the past year, it makes your head spin.

I am doing my best to regroup.  The most I can do is make cards. Why?  I have seen so many sad and unhappy people, knowing a card brings joy to their faces and makes their heart happy. Knowing someone took the time to send a card is great thought.

It is just a card, just a piece of paper.  No the thought is a treasure, to someone feeling lonely, knowing someone cares.

I love this embossing folder, Countryside Blossoms, I have used many a times for different cards.

Basic card of 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 cardstock of basic white, scored at 4-1/4".

The embossed layer is 4" x 5-1/4 basic white.  The "Thinking of you" is from an retired stamp set I use alot ... as I said before called retired but I call them collectors.  The die I used to cut out is oval scallop, also an oldie but goodie.

This is similar to above card but using a base of blueberry bushel and stamped with blueberry bushel.  I also used the Countryside Blossoms folder, inking folderbefore embossing through cut and Emboss Machine.

Friday, Enjoy the Day! Send Birthday Cards, Give Joy!

Today is a lovely day, cool, dry.  It has been so hot and humid I have been miserable.  My arthritis does not like it and my whole body is rebelling.

I made several birthday cards using two stamp sets Crafting With You and In The Moment.  Yes, using two different stamp sets in same card creates a unique card. Actually I used three stamp sets, the Happy Birthday stamped inside on basic white from Celebrate with Tags.

This is my favorite.  Yes, I used the same color combination I used earlier.

I used Calypso Coral and Poppy Parade.  Yes, deckle dies, second largest.

I obtained these stamp sets over the past year, recently Crafting with you.  The In The Moment from a Demonstrator event, given free apart of event and the Celebrate with tags last Christmas.

Relax, Enjoy, Retirement Card

I began this card and changed my mind several times.   In the process I gained more ideas for other cards. Tap the above photo to make bigger and see detail.

Video below, shows the wonders of DSP and embossing folder On this card.

Love the rocker from the stamp and die set Lazy Days.  I actually used the die cut from matching die set.  I also used the sentiment from In The Moment stamp set.

Using a basic card base of 8-1/2 by 5-1/2, scored at 4-1/4". Using a in color Copper Clay.

Cut a piece of 6" by 6" DSP into 4" by 5-1/4", I used the wood grain horizontal, used Timber embossing folder and ran thru Cut and Emboss Machine.

The DSP is called One Horse Sleigh, item #162118.  Available July 6th.

I used Copper Clay ink to stamp Relax from In the Moment stamp set.

Simple but striking card with texture and die cuts.

Mirroring Blog Hop

I am so delighted to be here and sharing the fun.

A year ago at this time I had cataract  surgery.   Many say, no big deal.  Well for me it was...I only see out of one eye and it was the eye being operated on. My eye doctor knew it was be hard on me, he knew well.  My July and August was no fun...totally depressed.  I could not drive, my balance was off and my card making stopped.  I gave up on my blog I had at the time... My husband knew... he joked and kidded me, made me laugh.  Sadly, my eye doctor who helped me through so many ups and downs passed away this week.

Stamp on a piece of clear acetate, I used window sheet which is clear mylar.

I than pressed it down onto basic white card stock.  You get a image that faces the opposite direction.

I did not have a silicon mat, would provide better results.  I need to get one.

I used Quiet Meadow stamp set.

Colored with Stampin' blends.

I made the stamping into two cards.

The more I looked at it, Ine3d to add something to the one on the right.

I found it, speckles...splotches...

Yes, it has a few shadows, but I am leaving it as is.
